With immense despair we communicate the disappearance of our Brewmaster and Technologist dr. Amelio Giust. 50 years ago he began his great beer adventure as a malter and, after 10 years, having acquired great experience in the selection and production of the best barley malt to produce beer, he was hired by Peroni as a master brewer. In his 40 years in the largest Italian brewery, he produced beers such as Kronenbourg, Budweiser, Wührer, Nastro Azzurro and the Peroni double malt Gran Riserva. In 2014 he created with all the commitment of his great experience and infinite passion, our Semedorato beer and, subsequently, the red Golden Seed, then L'artigianale Himera. He has received quite a few international awards and recognitions and has worked until a few days ago, devoted to his beer. He fought tenaciously against his illness and continued to work, driven by fervent passion, even after a very heavy surgery. He couldn't leave his children (that's what he called his employees and his beers). His beers, yes, because the recipes this time were his, he was able to combine experience, passion and creativity with his precious secrets. We cling to the pain of the family and of everyone who, like us, loved him, remembering him in this way, with his beer, on a beautiful summer day, in his natural habitat: the brewery, which he never wanted to leave , stubbornly, with all his love ... Hi Amelio! You will be with us forever ... Thanks from everyone, really all of us!
